Dissociating

I have disassociated throughout this evening. After thinking of the case, in Ardoyne, where a Mentally-Ill mum stabbed her baby boy to death – her two-year-old daughter is in Intensive Care – and hearing that the Covid spike in Belfast cancelled the Cancer Ward, I felt numb and helpless. Not to mention trying to get a more expensive Giffgaff Goodybag; to get more value for Data.

The NHS site for Dissociative Disorder mentioned Eating Disorders, PTSD and Additional Stress. I may vouch for all three, off the bat. From my own experience, I depended on a Food Bank on Monday; since then, compulsively having bowls of Coco Pops.

Letting Go of the Outcomes

I feel that letting go of the need to search for jobs left, right and centre has paid off; in the end.

I got a new car last Wednesday. And, this Friday, my brother and I will be signing a probate oath; at least I assume it will be the resolution of the Probtae following gran’s death. Then, more money will arrive.

The family home and land are sold. But I have about four or five months before I have to move. Less stress. 🙂

Also, the PIP re-application arrived at the Office on Monday morning. The form was filled last Thursday. It will take a week to register on the system. But they extended the deadline to ease the backlog of cases and applications.

Feeling better. My sensory overloads over the past few weeks drove me insane. Now, I’m having more me time.

A week’s rest

I have been staying at the home of my Artist Friend – my Support Bubble – since Saturday. I’ll head back on Friday morning. However, I will soon be rolling in it. My family home and land are on the market. My brother and I will soon have a Nice Little Earner.

I hate so much garbage since Saturday. However, my weight has remained the same from last week. A miracle. Perhaps, things are going the right direction.

I won’t brag, though. There are friends of mine suffering. A friend of mine is having Back Spasms. I must remind myself of how blessed I am for my health. I’m in two mind over whether or not to continue PIP beyond this time next year. After twenty years on Welfare, I feel that it’s a mug’s game.

Bandcamp has got me to follow Chris Olley. (the Nottingham Prince) Six.By Seven were a band panned by a Friend of Mine; who shaped my musical interest. But, on reflection, Chris has a Wife and Kids. So, he has a living. He’s real.

Good times ahead.

Victory in Europe

Today is the seventy-fifth anniversary of VE Day. It was the day we tore the Fascists down. 😀

On Sunday evening, I had watched a live stream of an art battle in Manchester. All pieces of artwork are for auction this week. However, I impulsively made bids on two lots, which is just another expense for me. However, I contacted the auctioneer, and he was grateful to cancel my bids after I explained my situation. Plus, I made two online donations to UnitedWeStreamGM over the past weekend, and there was an issue with Virgin Giving. Has there been a spat over Sir Richard Branson’s support of the Tories? Who knows.

There have been a few deaths recently, over the past month. However, I won’t get into hysterics over COVID-19. The mum of a neighbour of mine died yesterday evening, and she had been battling cancer. There are other ways to die.

I’m concerned about the possibility of vaccination being a requirement for travelling, or even finding public sector work. However, these demons are only defeated through prayer and fasting. 😀

Internet in the Boonies!

I switched from EE to Three for my broadband. However, it’s horrendously slow and unreliable; my upload speeds are only in K; I’m not s**tting you.

Yesterday, I had to pay for new blades for my windscreen wipers and also fix the motor as the fast wiping didn’t work. More expenses. :\ I had to call Lifeline, Samaritans and a friend from America to outreach.

One positive that I can use either one of my phones as a Hotspot in the meantime. But sometimes I wish I was Amish and never had to worry about Technology.

Happy New Year

Cautiously optimistic for 2016! However, the Presidential Election is gonna be a millstone round my Spiritual Neck. The Democrats and Republicans started off as one party; the Democratic-Republican Party; and are still essentially the same party.
