Home and Land sold

Last Friday, the family home and land sold for good. But the septic tank for the bungalow I’m set to move to is in a neighbouring premises. However, that is being seen to. Plus, I received an alert letter; as a stonking great water bill is due my way. The most obvious leakage was resolved today, but others need to be discussed with the new owner.

I had to deal with an issue which arose with the Christian Fellowship I had attended; which made me decide to stick to Facebook and YouTube to follow their services. But they’ll open a new Café next month, which I hope to attend regularly. God is shutting one door, so I may enter another.

Hard to believe that it will be Twenty years since 9/11. It will also be two years since Daniel Johnston passed away. That day is also the All-Ireland Final. Tyrone V Mayo. It will be a spectacle, but one team will be in the receptacle. (Imagine Patsy O’Hagan writing that?)

Being considered for Condition Management Programme

Condition Management Programme – Northern Ireland

I had to turn down THREE offers for an interview to prepare for this scheme, for twelve weeks, as my employment advisor said that I am not currently work-ready. However, I have other plans for my life. After heading across various places on Meetups and other trips, I guess I have to slow down. Not just for my health but also as I can no longer sustain my current lifestyle.

My only concern is the issue surrounding my benefits. I am only entitled to PIP – as it isn’t means tested – and this scheme used to be subject to means-tested benefits. God willing, they will have removed that precondition.

Also, I have plans for getting a cake for my brother’s thirtieth birthday. Watch this space.

Gran in hospital again

Yesterday my gran, who’s now 91, fell and hit her head and is now at Craigavon Area Hospital. Today I saw her, after deciding just to drive to Antrim then take the train to Portadown and get a taxi to the hospital, and she is really beginning to dote. She thought she was still at home and was on about her handbag and staff. The nurses said gran’s Niece will bring them over. In the end I decided to head back and, luckily, I was got the Dublin to Belfast train at Portadown and got the 7:20 train to Derry at Belfast Central, getting off at Antrim.

Big weekend ahead. FA Cup final tomorrow then Derry V Tyrone in the Ulster Championship on Sunday. I hope that this will take my mind off the woes about gran and my financial issues.

My Asperger’s tendency to stare placed me in an awkward moment on the trains, I tend to get worked up over others’ views of me. But, God willing, I managed to avoid making an Arse of myself in public. 🙂
